In 2001, when Christina Milian broke onto the music scene with her debut album, ‘AM To PM’, the world was shown a bubble gum pop sensation. With the album-entitled single, the song would solidify her as somewhat of a phenomenon. Not only could the talented singer, sing, but she could dance and write her own songs. However, Milian had more to show the world, than just a squeaky clean image, but a sexy one as well.
Released as the lead single, the song ‘Dip It Low’ debuted March 13, 2004. The song was definitely a bedroom anthem. Not only did its suggestive lyrics put all the lovers around the world in a mood to Tap That Azz, but it also gave it’s viewers visual stimulation too.
The music video, filled with seduction, displayed a far different image of Milian. Set in an Asian inspired theme, it was pretty clear that she had grown from young girl to fully grown woman. The song perfectly set to the video, was able to produce an effect so influential that it would become her most popular song to date, released. It would also have its listeners wanting to tap, tap, tap all night long.
… and who could blame them, I know I would sure want to…
So here it is, enjoy your Tappin’ That Azz Tune of the week, I know I will ;o)
