New Music Tuesday Time... Albums Of The Week

Carrie Underwood - Play On

This is the 3rd studio album from the former American Idol winner, and it looks to be as golden as her career. With singles already being released in a countdown fashion to the entire album release, look for this to be one of the biggest sellers of the Fall season; look for it also to be a huge crossover hit. A must have for this week…

Say Anything - Say Anything

This is the 4th studio album from the Emo Alternative Rock band. Originally to be released in the beginning of October, the album hit a delay. It was also re-titled as a self-titled album. The singles ‘Hate Everyone’, ‘Property’, have already been released, however look for the single ‘Do Better’ to make a bigger splash.

Vitalic - Flashmob

This is the 2nd album from the Electronic DJ, and look for it to make a splash in Dance circles mainly. The lead single ‘Your Disco Song’ was the vehicle for the album, and released on his MySpace page originally. The album itself has a feel of Disco, as it is making a comeback in music. Look for the single ‘Poison Lips’ to also make a splash on the Dance charts.

Morrissey - Swords (Bonus Track Version)/ Live In Warsaw

The former vocalist of the Smiths is back with his 10th studio album, and at that a live album as well. Typical of his style, the album does not disappoint. Do buy this via Itunes though if one must have the Bonus Tracks. Look for ‘My Dearest Love’ to be the main single off this.

Amerie - In Love & War

This is the 4th studio album from the R&B singer, and her 1st since leaving Columbia Records. The lead single ‘Pretty Brown’, is a cover from the group Mint Condition, that was originally released in the early 90s. The song however is sung with fellow R&B artist, Trey Songz. Earlier this year, Def Jam released an album sampler. Look for this to be a hit mainly in the R&B circle, but still a must have of the week.
