Fashion Friday: Vogue

What can I say, Vogue is not just a magazine... Its a dance, its a style, its a song, its Madonna. Throughout her whole career, the Queen of Pop has been a fashion pioneer. She has also been a person that has shed new light on a dance scene that had been long stifled by mainstream society.

When Madonna released her song, 'Vogue', it was an ode to 1930s' Hollywood, as well as a resurgance of a dance created in the underground gay scene of the NYC nightlife. The video was timeless. However, the diva would eventually reinvent that with her performance on the MTV Video Music Awards in 1990...

Directed by David Fincher, it has since been hailed by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the top 100 videos ever made. It was also the 1st multi-platinum certified single ever released by the Queen of Pop.

Its stamp on pop culture is timeless, so enjoy your Fashion Video For Friday, Vogue:
